Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions vary depending on whether you use our Bespoke Service or purchase from our Online Bootique.
All purchases within the EU require a charge of 18% VAT
25% Deposit is required upon order before work commences
Due to the personalised nature of each order if the order is placed in less than than 6 months prior to estimated delivery date, whilst every effort will be made to deliver as specified, ultimately the delivery will depend on the approval .
We cannot be responsible for any delays in your order caused by circumstances beyond our control.
If you ask us to undertake an unusual or experimental printing or production technique to achieve your desired stationery Boo&co cannot be responsible for the outcome and no refunds will be given.
In the event of faulty goods you should notify us immediately, and no later than 3 working days from receipt of your stationery, and return your stationery to us in it’s original packaging. Upon receipt of your stationery if it is deemed to be faulty on the part of Boo&co we will correct or replace your stationery with the same.
In the event that it is not possible to correct or replace your stationery with the same Boo&co reserves the right to offer an alternative or similar replacement.
Boo&co print to order. Minor variations in colour, texture, size and positioning can occur and do not constitute a fault.
Laser cut stationery is very delicate, burning and fraying, and small areas torn or removed are part of the laser cutting process and do not constitute a fault. 
This service includes free written/emailed quotes.
We recommend that if you're opting for a personalised set all consultations will be booked by appointment only.
Orders cancelled after you have approved your proofs and sent for prints will be charged in full and the balance is payable immediately on demand.
Text should be typed clearly in this Microsoft Word document or emailed to Boo&co
We will provide you with up to 4 sets of visuals, 3 rounds of changes for your approval before printing.
Where your order includes bespoke illustrations/designs/monograms/maps, we will provide you with 2 sets of proofs (1 round of changes) for this part of your order for your approval before printing.
Additional changes/visuals are charged at €5 each.
We provide you with B/w or colour proofs. However these will not be an exact match to your finished stationery due to the different printing methods involved.
You must check your proof and ensure that the information on the Sets is correct, once your emailed approval to print has been received we will send your order to print.
Boo&co cannot be responsible for any errors in your stationery not spotted by you at the proofing stage.
All illustrations/designs/monograms remain the copyright of Boo&co and are not to be reproduced or transmitted in any form, by any means.
We reserve the right to use any stationery we create for you to promote our products and services.
Should you wish us to assign copyright we can discuss your requirements with you.
To design your map we require you to provide us with an accurate digital map of the area you wish us to map.
If your order includes a bespoke design or requires more than one printing/production method printing will take longer and will depend on your chosen printing/production method.
You should advise us when ordering if you require our Rush Service If your order includes a bespoke illustration/design/monogram or map, or requires more than one printing/production method a Rush Service may be available at our discretion and we will advise you of our available rush proofing and printing/production times (which may vary from the above) for your order.
We cannot be responsible for any delays in your order caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Boo&co cannot be liable for any costs incurred by you due to a delay in your order.
All times are approximate and subject to change.
The figures and cake toppers are fun caricatures and not exact replica's which means you will get about a 70-80% likeness of the person in the photograph. We will send you an email of your head for approval before the figure goes into the ovens. If you need to make any adjustments to the likeness then this is the time to make them once the figure is approved the process can not be changed.
The size varies slightly depending on which body is chosen but the average height is between 10-15 cm.
A good photograph is a must.
One clear front facing and one side view head and shoulders photograph would be ideal. If this is not possible come to our premises and we will photograph you. A list will be emailed for extra details when ordering.
Please note:
We have no control over transit times and cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery once an order has been dispatched.
In the unlikely event of a package being lost or delayed in transit a replacement or refund cannot be given until a claim has been settled with the carrier (please note that if a claim is submitted it can take up to 60 days for a full investigation to be completed).
Boo&co collects any information given during the course of enquiring, ordering and registration process. We keep this on record to assist our administration and for future marketing initiatives. We do not sell or pass to anyone information contained on customers, which remains confidential to the company.
All data is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
You may collect your stationery from us at a prearranged date/time.
Deliveries are available at a flat rate of €5 for Malta. €25 for Gozo, outside of the Maltese Islands postage will vary depending on the distance and will be quoted for accordingly.
Payments must be settled in full upon delivery/collection.
Any deliveries will need to be signed for upon receipt.
